Gold Circle Award

GOREVILLE, IL – Goreville Elementary School is proud to announce that its Preschool for All/Preschool for All Expansion (PFA/PFAE) program has earned the Gold Circle of Quality through ExceleRate Illinois, the state’s quality recognition and improvement system for early learning and development programs.

The Gold Circle of Quality recognizes programs that have demonstrated a consistent commitment to excellence across all aspects of early childhood education — including instructional quality, staff qualifications, family engagement, professional development, and program administration.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education and ExceleRate Illinois,” said Christi King Principal at Goreville Elementary School. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our early childhood staff and our commitment to providing a strong foundation for every child’s success in school and life.”

ExceleRate Illinois evaluates programs through a comprehensive monitoring process conducted by assessors from National Louis University, using tools such as the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale - Third Edition (ECERS-3) and the ISBE Compliance Checklist. The Gold Circle of Quality is one of the highest distinctions a program can achieve, indicating that Goreville’s preschool program meets or exceeds the state’s highest quality standards.

Families can feel confident knowing that Goreville Elementary PFA/PFAE program provides a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for their children — one that prepares them for lifelong learning and success.

A formal certificate recognizing this award will be sent by the Illinois Network of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (INCCRRA).  For more information about ExceleRate Illinois and what this recognition means for families, visit www.excelerateillinois.com.
