- Home of the Blackcats

It has already been a busy and exciting start to the school year for our students! Through the Director of Student Services, we are working to connect our students with opportunities that prepare them for life after high school—whether that means college, a career, or the military.

🏫 College & University Opportunities
So far this year, we have welcomed 5 universities to Goreville High School:
• SIU-Carbondale
• Murray State University
• SIU-Edwardsville
• Western Illinois University
• University of Illinois

Our seniors have also already begun applying to colleges and taking college visit days as they explore their options for life after graduation.

🔨 Supporting the 3E Initiative
We are excited to provide students with experiences that expose them to the many pathways available after high school!

⭐ 23 juniors attended SIU Day
⭐ 10 students attended the Construction Career Expo
⭐ 1 student has already committed to the military

📚 FAFSA Support Coming Soon
Over the next three weeks, ISAC will meet with every senior to assist them with completing the FAFSA application and navigating the financial aid process.

We are proud of the steps our students are already taking toward their futures! 💛🖤
At Goreville High School, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity, support, and resources to find their path after graduation. We are excited to continue building connections, creating opportunities, and helping our students take the next step toward their future! 🎓✨
